Privacy Policy

The short version: Slaytic Converter never sees your files. Everything happens inside your own browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any document data.

How it works

Every tool on Slaytic Converter runs as JavaScript code that executes inside your browser tab. When you open a PDF, the file is read directly into your browser's memory using the Web File API. It is never sent to any server.

Processing — merging, splitting, converting, signing, compressing, redacting, and OCR — happens entirely on your own device using open-source libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js, and Tesseract.js) that are loaded from public CDNs. The finished file is saved directly to your computer from the browser. At no point does any document data leave your machine.

What we do not collect

Analytics

We use Plausible, a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics service, to understand how many people visit the site and which tools are used most. This data is aggregate, anonymous, and never tied to individual users or their files. Plausible does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Third-party libraries

The toolkit loads the following libraries from public CDNs at runtime:

These CDN requests may log your IP address as a standard server log. Slaytic Converter has no control over those logs.

Children

Slaytic Converter is a general-purpose document tool. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
