How this works in your browser
This tool loads PDF.js, the same open-source PDF rendering engine Firefox uses internally, directly into your browser tab. Each page is rendered onto an HTML5 canvas at your chosen resolution, then the canvas is exported as a JPG. Once every page has been rendered, JSZip bundles all the resulting images into a single ZIP file for download - the whole render-encode-bundle pipeline runs on your own device, so your PDF is never uploaded anywhere.
