Every tool in Slaytic Converter runs as JavaScript code inside your browser using WebAssembly and the Web File API. There's no upload step, no storage bucket, and no copy of your document anywhere but your own computer. The PDF never touches our servers because we don't have any in the loop.

Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Each tool processes your file using JavaScript that runs inside your own browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, so there's nothing to wait on and nothing stored remotely.
Do I need to create an account?
No account needed. Open a tool and start working immediately - no email, no sign-up, no passwords.
Is Slaytic Converter free?
Yes, all 36 tools in the toolkit are completely free to use with no limits.
Is there a file size limit?
There's no hard cap, but because everything runs on your device, very large files (several hundred megabytes) may process more slowly depending on your computer's memory.
How does the OCR tool work?
The OCR tool uses Tesseract.js, a WebAssembly port of the industry-standard Tesseract OCR engine, running entirely in your browser. It recognizes text in scanned PDFs and produces a new searchable PDF, all without sending your file anywhere.
